As a sound designer and composer, Theo Teichman’s work focuses on how sound creates and evokes the feeling of a place and its particular qualities, materialities, scales, and choreographies. He studied music composition at Carnegie Mellon University with a focus on experimental practices and soundscape composition and Theo furthered training in soundscape composition through a Fulbright research fellowship in Belgrade, Serbia. As an avid collaborator and interdisciplinary artist, Theo works across media from film to experimental opera to choreography to sound installation.
